Back to the Blog

This is my first post for a long while. I have truly missed blogging and cannot wait to start again.

My weekend was very busy. It was filled with movies, ACT, Prom, soccer, and some hanging out.

I saw Fast and Furious. I can honestly say it was a very good movie. I went with a huge group and thought I would have to site through 107 minutes of car chases and explosions (not really my thing). The movie had a fairly good story, interesting characters, and of course great driving and effects. I suggest you take your friends if you want something that is not too deep, but not a bang your head into the wall its so stupid movie.

The ACT was fine, but it was way to early.

Prom was amazing and you can enjoy some of the pictures below!

Me and my date (My wonderful boyfriend of a year and a half). 1 of 1000 photos and 1 video of this day.

The heel height everyone should wear. No need to take off these shoes ever.

The limo, it matches my dress, what a coincidence

Look my blonde streak, yes its natural.

It was sort of bright or could you tell.

New Year's Resolutions

1. Learn my way around on the roads of my city. You have no idea how many times I get lost in my own city. It is not even funny, but luckily I received a GPS for Christmas. Knowing your way around your city is very important (especially in mine where you definitely do not want to go to certain parts of town).

2. Be a happier, nicer person! Yes I want to gossip less and be more positive so I am happier in everything I do. I have so many wonderful people and opportunities in my life and I need to take advantage of all of them. I pledge to smile more, complain, criticize, and condemn less.

3. Run and exercise more. Note it does not say lose weight, diet, or anything else to the effect. I want to get active so I can make healthy habits that will stick for life. My family has a history of diabetes and I do not wish to get it.

4. Be more helpful. Try and do everything that needs to be done in a timely manner.

5. Stop being so hard on myself and let things go. If its my absolute best, then it is. I want to make sure I say a nice thing about myself and someone else everyday.

My Punk Band's Called Operation Iraqi Freedom

So in the last few days I bought the new Third Eye Blind EP and am eagerly awaiting their February 2009 CD release of Ursa Major and here are my other purchases. The title comes from the song Non Dairy Creamer.

The little kids I baby sit are so sweet and here is their Christmas gift they gave me. It smells so sweet and fresh.
I got this for $10 it was cute and fit nicely and nothing makes winter warmer than a floral print.

If you must know if I could travel to any time period it would be the 19020's. I love the flapper vibes this dress exudes and cannot wait to wear it to my family Christmas party. I will feel like Daisy from the The Great Gatsby.

I also love purple and these suede like shoes are amazing and I got them from Shoe Carnival. I had no idea their shoes were cute.

I feel like a piece of modern art when I wear this skirt. I got an amazing deal on it and love the colors. It was originally $225 and I got it for $39.90. Its my baby if you must know.

Thanks for reading and I hope all of you have wonderful holidays!

yes these pictures are mine!
